The ies200 (integrated embroidered sensor 200 [mm]) can measure the occurring deformations over the entire service life of the rotor blades. By manufacturing in a prelaminated form, the measuring sheet, the embroidered strain sensor can be applied to the glass fibre material under laboratory conditions and connected to the matrix. This makes it suitable for use directly in the blade manufacturing process and as a retrofitted sensor patch in a robust encapsulation.

The ies200 is made of high-quality GL-certified glass-fibre laminate to achieve mechanical properties that are as identical as possible to those of the rotor blade material to be monitored.
