Elastic and fatigue-resistant FGL strain sensors enable direct load measurement on prosthesis components made of fibre composite materials and make future prostheses lighter, safer and more comfortable. The video shows the state of technology development. The very good results were achieved jointly by Acquandas, FiberCheck, Fraunhofer IWU, Reha aktiv 2000 and Ottobock.
